Working at Mod Pizza

Updated: Oct 15, 2020

When my mom found out about the job, she told me to have my resume ready to apply. My dad helped me fill out the job application. Then, I received the email from Mod Pizza's manager and they scheduled an interview.

Before the interview, I practiced the usual interview questions. I wore a nice shirt and pants for the interview. During the interview, the manager was nice, and asked interview questions told me how to handle general situations while working. One example was what to do if the customer received the wrong pizza. After the interview, I waited until I received an email to see if I got the job. I was proud to see the email stating that I was hired!

When I started working at Mod Pizza, the manager was nice and provided training. The manager taught me how to press the dough, how to put the toppings on the pizza, sweep the floor, fold boxes, and how to work at the cash register.

When it got crowded with people, I had to make the dough faster so that way the customers will enjoy their fresh pizza.

I suggest working at Mod Pizza because it's a great job for people with disabilities.
