Before my family moved to Pearland, Tx, we had to figure out how to pack storage boxes to adequately hold our personal items. We started the process by organizing small items such as books, picture frames, bathroom supplies, kitchenware, stuff from the attic, and tools from the backyard. We put the items in boxes and labeled the boxes using duct tape. I helped Dad carry the heavy stuff such like the tv, plants, lawnmower, and patio furniture.
When mom and I arrived at the new house, I carried the clothes, stuff from my room, food for the new pantry, paper towels and laundry detergent. I also put personal hygiene items in the bathroom that I planned to use. When the movers came by the old house, they carried the furniture, mattress, tables, and chairs.
During my last day of work at Mod Pizza, I said goodbye to the manager and the coworkers. Moving back and forth to a new house can be tiring but it is totally worth it! A big positive about the move is that I live in a good neighborhood that has a lot of lakes and neighborhoods.
